Company Health Check.

Experience of investigating frauds has identified a number of key areas where businesses are susceptible to fraud both internal and external. A Health Check of a company can be tailored to the needs of the business. The Health Check is like a risk assessment but it goes further and can include training key staff on counter fraud measures and include showing actual examples of a wide variety of frauds.

The most thorough check would involve a visit to the business, examining all systems and procedures from which a report would be prepared identifying and advising on areas within the business, which are vulnerable to fraud. This can also include a review of the company's computer systems integrity if required.

A simple check may involve a business answering questions relating to systems and procedures, from which a similar but less detailed report would be produced.

Company Health Checks can be reviewed annually or as required, they can also be used when conducting Due Diligence prior to new acquisition.
